In partnership with other community health organizations, we also work in the community to provide community health education and emergency preparedness workshops.
You can find CFPA’s Community Health Team:
Tabling at CFPA and other community events.
Conducting workshops in the community to help prepare for and respond to emergencies such as loss of electricity, heatwaves, winter weather and earthquakes.
Advocating for the needs and perspectives of communities and educating the community using trauma-informed practices.
Moving forward, we are hoping to create a Mobile Resource & Health Navigation Clinic to enable our participants to better access health and basic needs resources, information, digital literacy training, and receive support in navigating resources from our staff and volunteers. With this mobile clinic, CFPA will expand our efforts to provide digital literacy training and access to reliable internet and devices to the low-income seniors we serve. This will enable our health to sign clients up for services and connect them with digital resources and education, meeting them where they are.
