Memory Loss
Alzheimer’s Association Meetings
Throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington, Alzheimer’s association hold support groups for caregivers and for individuals with younger-onset and early-stage Alzheimer's. All support groups are facilitated by trained individuals.
Support groups create a safe, confidential, supportive environment and a chance for participants to develop mutual support and social relationships.

Memory Cafe
Every Second Friday of the month
12:30–2:00 PM
The Center
Facilitated by Jennifer Foreman, MultCo Family Caregiver Support Program Coordinator The Memory Café is a free social event for those with dementia, Alzheimer’s or memory loss, and their families.
Come enjoy an opportunity to socialize with music and free refreshments. RSVP requested (to plan for refreshments), but drop- ins welcome. Note: No caregiving available—family support must be present.
Family Caregivers Support Group
Second Tuesday of the month, 10-11:30 a.m at the Center
Participants learn about resources and techniques to help cope with the many issues of self-care while caregiving.
If you are a grandparent or older relative raising children, you may also find this guide, put out by the Department of Human Services helpful.
Conversations on Aging
Last Wednesday of the Month, 1pm in person
Facing the challenges of aging can be easier when you share your experience with others who understand. In Conversations on Aging, members support and encourage each other in making the shifts in perspective that allow for a more satisfactory quality of life. Registration is required. Time to be announced when the caller is registered.
