Josephine Ramirez

Josephine Ramirez has 23 years in social services serving the community of Multnomah County & Washington County with non-profit organizations and with Multnomah County ADS & DDSD. She strives to support, educate and advocate for population's disadvantaged by circumstances and systems. Her 20 years working with different housing programs, in property management, low income housing and market rate housing overseeing large portfolios has given her the opportunity to have a vast knowledge of processes, policy and procedures to assist youth, individuals and families who have struggled with housing barriers and getting into housing. Some of her accomplishments are the facilitation of housing 11 youth in one day, development of individual support plans to achieve first time home ownership, first generation entry into college and watching individuals graduate as well as support, guide in opening a small business with the connection of accessing community resources. She has overcome adversities of her own, her lived experience overcoming systems and circumstances has given her the passion to want and continue to be a part of services to those who would need. She is excited to bring passion, inclusivity, and enthusiasm to a team and organization with values and a mission she can proudly honor and support to achieve.
