Rebecca Ortiz (she/her/they/them)
Rebecca is an Oregon native with 20+ years of experience in the accounting/bookkeeping industry within private and publicly traded companies. They specialize in financial document and procedure control, emphasizing in Accounts Payable & Receivable, with a strong foundation in payroll processing and HR support. They gained the base of their experience and growth with 5 years at Lapchi, LLC of Portland, before moving to Corvallis in 2014 to complete a BS in Sport & Exercise Science tailored to Physical Therapy.
Rebecca has been known to participate in volunteer firefighting, volunteering with Friends of Trees & the Tualatin River Keepers and the Special Olympics of Oregon. She used to be an avid rock climber, skateboarder, long distance road cyclist and kayaker. They are very much looking forward to applying their hard financial skills and the discipline that comes with hard outdoor skills to the Community for Positive Aging in any way they can to help support those that this great organization serves. If you don’t find her nose to the numbers, it’s probably in a crossword puzzle book or just above the mat in Downward Facing Dog.
