YOUR ROLE:
As a Classes/Activities Support Volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to lead or assist in a variety of engaging programs designed to enrich the lives of seniors and neighbors in affordable housing. Whether you’re sharing your expertise by teaching a class, guiding a walking group, or offering one-on-one technology support, your contribution will help build a stronger, more connected community. Most programs are currently offered via Zoom, with in-person sessions planned for the future.
Current Classes/Activities Support Volunteer Opportunities Include:
Instructor/Facilitator: Lead a class or workshop on a topic you’re passionate about, fostering learning and connection among participants.
Tech Ambassador: Provide one-on-one technology support, helping seniors stay connected with family and friends through digital tools.
Walking Group Leader: Guide a group on walks, encouraging physical activity and social interaction in a relaxed, friendly setting.
Virtual Meeting Assistant: Help facilitate virtual classes and meetings, ensuring everything runs smoothly and participants stay engaged.
Creative Activities: Lead or assist with fun activities like conversation groups, crafts, or any hobby you’re excited to share.

Time Commitment: We offer flexible opportunities to fit your schedule—whether you’re available weekly, monthly, or on an as-needed basis.
Location: This position is primarily onsite unless it’s a virtual program.
