YOUR ROLE:
As a Client/Participant Support Volunteer, you’ll be an essential part of our team, providing direct assistance to participants at the center and residents through our Enhanced Resident Services program. Whether you’re checking in participants for senior law or tax assistance, organizing and delivering food and supplies, or bringing a smile to someone’s face with a thoughtful letter, your support will be invaluable. Your compassion and commitment will help ensure that our seniors feel supported, connected, and cared for.
We currently need volunteer support in the following areas:
Enhanced Resident Services: Offer hands-on support to residents, ensuring they have what they need to thrive.
Errands & In-Home Support: Run errands or provide in-home assistance to seniors, helping them maintain their independence.
Letters of Care: Brighten someone’s day by writing and delivering personalized letters to residents.
Supplies Delivery: Organize and deliver essential items, food, and supplies to those who need them most.
Phone Pal: Stay connected with seniors by making regular phone calls to check in and offer companionship.
Senior Law & Tax Assistance: Help with the organization and participant check-in for senior law and tax assistance services.
Wellness Checks: Conduct wellness checks to ensure seniors are safe, healthy, and well-supported.
DETAILS:
Time Commitment: Flexible opportunities available—volunteer weekly, monthly, or as needed.
Location: Some positions can be done remote and others are better onsite- we are flexible!
